I kept reminding myself, 'This is where i am suppose to be since 17 years ago' or 'the train is arriving soon', as i sat on the chair for my scholarship interview. Mentally preparing myself. What i meant in train is arriving soon was that the interview is something that cannot be missed and it will come and go just like that. Haiz.
Most of the question i had expected came out, but the nervous feeling still manage to partially envelope me. The funny thing was that, the talk became about LATE AH MENG for quite sometime. lol. They asked me about my zoo attachment and i decided to talk about pangolin's skin are used as chinese medicine and it reminds me of L'AM. So i told them a story, Ah Meng got very ill after not giving out faeces for a few days. If the zoo did not do anything, Ah Meng will definitely die. Again, another few days and still the same. So, someone decided to use Traditional Chinese Medicine on Ah Meng and it manage to heal him. Now TCM is allowed to be used in the Zoo. Interesting right?
The talk goes on when something started to feel so ugly, my lips got into desertification and tadaaa my lips got soo dry!!! My lips was like pulling out taped tape in other to open my mouth. And my jaws was like glued to the lips. It was totally unexciting to have such things happening during a interview that would affect my whole life!!
Then someone asked, 'you seem to be more into Environment Engineering(smtg like that urh) than MOT'. Indeed, something that i had also expected. For me, i will treat my environmental knowledge/interest as a passion and getting involve in the marine industry as an ambition. I don't mind becoming a volunteer speaker in environment if i manage to control the butterflies in my stomach to fly formally. That was not what i said though. I just said that i see greater light in mot than those courses, the marine industry is an important key role to Singapore's economic. heehee.
Lastly, the interview was not like 5 adults or what! I think there are more than 9! Something which i had never expected.
I hope that my application is accepted though being a colourblind is a big drawback.
