Zoo Zoo Zoo!!!!!

I love the zoo, my team and the beautiful visitors!! It was awesome to set up a booth in the zoo. And, the secret to the 'what i shall call a success is definitely u gotta love what you are doing.

So yeah, my team set up a booth to raise awareness about illegal wildlife trade. The REAL specimens that are on display are tiger skin, rhino horn, preserved stuffed pangolin and slow loris. The fake ones are a tiger penis, donno what claw and one more....

Talk talk talk.... and language got its barrier. It was kinda unexciting when you approach people with a mindset of good english... and after a while of talking..... 'cheke chen de mah?'(is this real or not?)...... eventually.. those question are answered by chinese-educated team members at the back. 'chen de, chen de'...... Haiz.

The best part was yesterday... when a guy came. Yup.. He should be lucky as the whole booth was empty at that moment. Sooo... i walked him through every freaking real specimen. Great! It was awesome when people wanna listen to you, showing great curiosity and ending them with total understanding about the agenda of the booth.

And just now, got one pretty Ang Moh girl lahhh seyyy.... From a distance, i was already like.... 'ok let me take this family of three into my hand'... haha! No doubt, we were smiling at each other when i talk to her about slow loris. Undeniable that she was taller than me, far taller actually.

After that, i talked with one of my member sharing that we should actually be prepared with name cards! haha

Others who visit also share their experience, like one from China saying that he ate that a lot in China. The taste was very nice. Some also share stories about slow loris that are kept as pet.

Love watching the black panther and jaguar together. -both are jaguar.

A pair of tortoise were mating. The sound that they make, astounding.
